A Rose by Any Other Name . . .

These images were shaped in the quiet of early morning, during 5 a.m. walks among the roses. At that threshold of dawn — when first light rests on each petal —

the flower reveals not softness, but structure.

Working within the cultivated abundance of a Tudor garden, I approach botanical form through the discipline of modern design. The old and the new are allowed to breathe together — tradition and reduction, cultivation and clarity. What emerges is not ornament, but presence: light, geometry, stillness.
